GMC Classics
Email List

The purpose of this email list is to promote communication between members of the GMC Classics Motorhome Club. Only members will be allowed to join the list and only members will recieve list traffic.

In order to keep our list closed and limit access to club members only, your request to join must be approved by a list administrator. You will be allowed to post messages only after that approval. When approved, you will receive an introductory email with further instructions. Please save or print this message for future reference.

Once you have joined the list you can set your email preferences.

Here are some ways to control the way you receive the Classics News.

Settings for the list are controlled from this page:

In the section titled "CLASSICS SUBSCRIBERS", enter the address you're subscribed with in the box beside the "UNSUBSCRIBE OR EDIT OPTIONS" box.  Click the button and you will be taken to a page to enter your password.  Now, since I subscribed all of you at one time, I did not apply passwords to your accounts.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the button that says "REMIND", and a password will be mailed to you right away.

Type that password into the "LOGIN" box and hit enter.  This is the page where you can change your preferences to the email list.  You can also set a new password that will be easier for you to remember than the one assigned.

Please do not un-subscribe from the list.  There are better options available.

The main thing you'll want to look at is down where it says "SET DIGEST MODE".  If you set this "ON" , then you'll only receive one email per day with all that day's traffic on it.

Another handy setting is MAIL DELIVERY.  Notice that you can turn it OFF rather than un-subscribing from the list.  This way, you can go on vacation and not worry about your inbox getting filled up.  When you get back home, simply turn it back on, and mail will resume.

There are many more settings, but none of them make much difference.  It'd be best to leave the rest of them alone.

To save your new settings, go to the bottom of the page and hit the "SUBMIT" button.

That's all there is to it.  Now you can stay in touch with the rest of the club and have your Classics List email the way you want it.

The list server is an automated mailing list manager. It is a piece of software, therefore it only understands simple commands like 'subscribe' and 'help'. If you need to interact with a human, send email to   .
