Approximately 70 GMC coaches made the trip to Eureka Springs,
Arkansas.
The weather was rainey the first few days and then turned off
cold and windy. That didn't dampen the fun for this group. We
all gathered in the meeting room for three evenings of good food
and entertainment. The costume night was very creative. As you
can see in the pictures, there were some real hillbillys in the
GMC group. The talent show had several entries. Everyone came
out a winner but first place went to the GMC'ers from the Duncanville
and DeSota area south of Dallas. There were ten people involved
in their act performing songs and a special reading. Many of our
group spent the days shopping in the antique stores and of course
there was a technical seminar. Some even made the short trip to
Branson to check out that town. Our catered meals were excellent
and there was plenty
of food. The owners of the RV park went out of their way to make
our event very special. Thanks to Jack and Betty Jackson and everyone
that worked with them putting together this event.
