Earl Morrison had trouble on his way to the Uvalde Rally. His left front wheel locked up on him. He called for road assistance and they wanted to tow him back to San Antonio for repairs. He insisted on them towing him on into Uvalde because he knew there would be more qualified help to be had there.
Sure enough, he couldn't have picked a better place to break down. Linwood Arthur and Jim Davis turned in and did all the work while Ken Thoma furnished the needed parts. Plus there was a world of advisors on hand, just in case anybody needed any.
It made for a great Tech Session, especially since the scheduled Onan tear down had been canceled due to un-controllable circumstances.
